List of Role Types

Below is the list of roles that can be selected during the Ownership and Control stage of the application form.

Director

A Director is an individual authorised to represent the company and make binding decisions on its behalf, as per the law or the company's Articles of Association.

Beneficial Owner

A Beneficial Owner is an individual who ultimately owns or controls more than 25% of a company’s shares or voting rights, or who otherwise exercises control over the company or its management.

Partner

A Partner is similar to both a Beneficial Owner and a Director in a limited company. They usually have an ownership share and the authority to make binding decisions for the partnership. Their exact rights and responsibilities are outlined in the Partnership Deed.

Corporate Director or Corporate Beneficial Owner

A Corporate Director and Corporate Beneficial Owner function similarly to a Director or Beneficial Owner, but instead of being an individual, they are an entity (a company).
