Sokin Pay - Payment links
Sokin Pay’s Payment link feature allows you to receive card payments to your Sokin account by providing a payment link or sharing a QR code.
Sokin pay Dashboard
The most recent payments received via payment link will appear in the Sokin Pay Dashboard . To receive payments into a specific wallet, select the QR code icon to generate a QR code, or create payment links by clicking Request Payment.
The QR Code feature allows you to generate a payment link and QR code that can be easily shared with anyone via multiple channels such as email, invoices, social media and more, allowing you to request payments seamlessly. When the payer clicks the link or scans the QR code, they will be directed to a URL where they can enter their full name, email address and payment amount.
Request Payment
The request payment feature enables you to create customised one-time payment links.
To submit a payment request, make sure all the mandatory fields are completed, and the Applicable Payment Method is selected.
When making a payment request, you can:
- Receive payment alerts.
- Send requests and receipts via email.
- Set an expiration period for the payment link.
- Automatically send a reminder email 1 day prior to the expiry date.
Once a payment request is submitted, it will appear in the Requested Payments List.
Requested Payments List
All payment requests will appear in the Requested Payments List with one of the following statuses:
Active – A payment request waiting to be completed.
Completed – Completed transactions.
Expired – Payment requests that have passed their ‘Valid up to’ date
Click on a specific request to view transaction details, copy a payment link or QR code for Active payments, cancel Active or In-progress payments, and refund Completed payments.
You can search payment requests by selecting any of the following filters: Sokin Pay ID, Payee Name, Payment Source, Currency, Type, Method, and Status. Click the red funnel button to see your results.
You can also create a new payment request within this section by selecting the Create Payment Request button.
Sokin Pay Transactions List
Payments received via Payment links are listed in the Sokin Pay Transactions List
Your most recent transactions are displayed first and you can select a specific transaction to view details, download a receipt, view settlement details, and process a refund.
Additionally, you can download a CSV file with the data shown in the Sokin Pay Transaction List. If filters are applied, only the filtered transactions will be included in the download.
