Source of Funds & Source of Wealth

We may request information on your Source of Funds (SoF) and/or Source of Wealth (SoW) to better understand the origin of funds for both your company and personal finances.

Source of Funds 

Providing your SoF helps us understand the origins of the money your company uses to finance its operations. 


The following documents are acceptable forms of SOF:


  • Last 3 Month's of Company’s Bank Statements - These should display your company’s activity, reflecting the inflows and outflows of funds related to its operations.


  • A Minimum of 2 Invoices - These should match the transactions recorded in the provided bank statements.


    If you do not have a company bank account, please submit personal bank statements showing business-related transactions. If there are no business-related transactions in the last 3 month's, please provide the last 6 month's worth of statements.  

Source of Wealth

Providing your SoW helps us understand how you accumulated your entire wealth. This includes the origin of the assets and financial contributions used to fund your business activities.


Please provide your Corporate Tax Statement from the previous year (If available). If this document is unavailable, you may submit any document that provides proof of your financial contributions to the business.


Here are a few examples of acceptable SoW documents:


  • Business Ownership Interests - Share register, or other evidence of ownership.


  • Employment Income - Pay slips and/or bank statements showing employment income, employment contracts, or proof of bonuses.


  • Personal Investments - Documentation of dividend payments or liquidation of investments.


  • Pension Payments - Evidence of pension payments into your bank account or a pension statement.


  • Sale of Property - Certified copy of the sale contract and evidence of funds being deposited into your bank account.
